After completing the Marks & Spencer management training programme, Jill “went solo” and set up her own Fitness Consultancy in 1993 - helping people to improve their well-being.

Initially, the business consisted of teaching a wide variety of classes to a wide variety of people; ages 5-90, non-English speaking groups and long distance runners. Over the next few years, Jill was also Personal Training and running aerobic studios in health clubs.

In 1998 Jill qualified in Therapeutic Massage and began working in a busy chiropractor clinic. This relationship was a great training experience for the next course; Sport and Remedial Massage, which was completed in 1999.

By 2000 the emphasis of the business had successfully shifted from the fitness industry to the Massage Therapy.

In 2003, Jill found herself in the position of being able to sell the business to fund her move “back home” to Edinburgh where she has set up successful clinics in Edinburgh City Centre and Peebles.

She has also continued to develop her skills, most notably by training in CranioSacral Therapy with The Upledger Institue. CST 1 was completed in October 2006 and CST2 in June 2007.

A certificate in Indian Head Massage was attained in July 2007.

With an in-depth knowledge of exercise and anatomy, a wide variety of therapies and an intuitive “feel” for the patients needs, the patient is in safe hands.
