Kate’s background was in Accountancy but with the changes in lifestyle a family brought, she took the opportunity to Study Anatomy & Physiology, Swedish Massage and ultimately Aromatherapy at The Jewel and Esk Valley College, qualifying with Merits in June 2001.
Further qualifications taken between 2002 and 2007 include Reflexology (The Scottish School of Reflexology), Reiki 1 &2 (Usui School), Hydrotherm Massage, Hot Stone Therapy, Thermo-Auricular Therapy (Hopi Ear Candling) and Introductory Counselling.
Kate believes in continued Development to enhance her ability as a Therapist, combining therapies where necessary to provide the best possible treatment for each client depending on their requirements.
