Katie Herdman

Katie works with awareness and sensitivity in service to the creative process. Incorporated in her approach is the study of movement, human development, study of myths and archetypes, and an emphasis on play; all tools that she draws upon while accompanying her client on their personal journey. She brings to her practice her personal experience of movement, drama, myth and dream work. Her ongoing commitment to her own process underpins her therapeutic presence.

She holds a Masters Degree in Sesame Dramatherapy (London) where she graduated in 2002. She is also a qualified Creative Arts Supervisor, having completed a two-year training in March 2008.

Katie has worked with a wide variety of people, including children and parents; people with physical disabilities and chronic pain; people suffering from depression or lack of confidence or a life crisis.

As a member of the Health Professions Council, Katie is fully insured and follows the HPC, BADth and Sesame codes of practice and ethics.
