Mairi Freeden

MA, UKCP.

I am a graduate of the four year Core Process Psychotherapy training run by the Karuna Institute and am accredited through that body.

I have a Master's Degree (Middlesex) in Core Process Psychotherapy.

The Karuna Institute is a Member of the United Kingdom Council on Psychotherapy (UKCP) with whom I am registered. I abide by their Code of Ethics.

I have worked for many years in the caring professions,as a Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Occupational Therapist.

I hold a Counselling Accreditation with the Pastoral Foundation where I counselled for 7 years before I embarked on my training as a Psychotherapist in 1996.

Integrated into my work is training and experience in Somatic Trauma Therapy.The challenges and joys of family life and my own spiritual practice demand that I continue to grow and develop. As well as my family and friends my greatest resources and pleasures include music, walking and the countryside.

I continually experience for myself and with others, the transformative, healing potential of the deep, trusting relationship of Psychotherapy.
