Vladimira is an experienced, warm and enthusiastic therapist who has been practising and studying complementary therapies for the past 18 years. She graduated from the International School of Shiatsu at the IMI Kiental Institute, Switzerland, being trained by Saul Goodman. After moving to Scotland in 2004 she further enhanced her skills and knowledge by studying a degree course in Clinical Aromatherapy and Reflexology.
Nowadays, her practice incorporates the knowledge and skills obtained through her studies of a variety of other disciplines and principles. This makes her massage treatments truly unique and tailored to each person's individual needs. During each massage session Vladimira uses a great variety of techniques originating in Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Acupressure, Lymphatic Drainage and Shiatsu, complemented by a unique tailored aromatherapy oil blend, to restore a feeling of well-being and harmony.
She is involved in tutoring and also academic research and development. She has created a 7-week programme on Complementary Therapies for young people, which has been successfully running at local Secondary Schools in the Edinburgh region. For the past two years she has also been mentoring students at the Napier University to help them to broaden their understanding of a what it really takes to be a successful professional therapist.
Her work is focused on development of the human being as a whole, both physical, emotional, as well as spiritual. She uses organic products where possible.
