I have had a lifelong interest in health and healing. This interest covers body, mind and spirit. After 12 years of teaching and lecturing on meditation, from 1985 I practised and taught Polarity Therapy with its remarkable understanding of the human energy fields. Then, following a further training in Craniosacral Therapy in 1995, I decided to make Craniosacral Therapy the primary focus of my therapeutic work. For me Craniosacral Therapy clarifies the relationship between the detailed anatomy and physiology of the body and the underlying energy dynamics at its very core.

My experience is that Craniosacral Therapy can facilitate the resolution of a wide range of health related conditions and I use it myself to maintain my own health.

I practise according to the Biodynamic approach which is minimally interventionist and seeks to evoke each person’s own inherent and unique treatment plan. When the therapist follows the body’s intelligence in this way, it results in the most optimal form of treatment possible because our own bodies know best what they need in order to regain and retain their health. I am also trained in and can use the bio-mechanical (gently interventionist) approach if required.

I am a fully trained Craniosacral Therapist and Polarity Therapist, having trained primarily with Franklyn Sills of the Karuna Institute. I am insured and registered on the Professional Registers of the Craniosacral Therapy Association (UK).

I have had shorter training in Applied Kinesiology, Process Oriented Psychology, working with shock and trauma, working with mothers and babies, and pre and peri-natal psychology . I follow an ongoing programme of Continuing Professional Development in Craniosacral Therapy and other areas of health care.
