Our relationships with others influence how much we value ourselves and impact our wellbeing at all stages of life, so there are times when the thought of sharing deeply personal experiences with family and friends can feel impossible. This is where counselling and psychotherapy can be helpful by offering support to begin to off-load troublesome thoughts and make sense of difficult feelings and emotions.
Through my practice I have worked with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, cultures and ages, in schools, workplace settings, and the homeless sector. I bring an open, engaged and dynamic approach to sessions and aim to support you to explore and find a way through whatever is troubling you.
In my experience we each have our own individual painful stories which we can learn to see with fresh eyes, often discovering hidden gems and recognising strengths and capabilities we didn’t even know we possessed.
There are times in our lives when we can all benefit from counselling and the relief that comes from feeling seen, heard and understood.
